Noise Controlling

OBJECTIVE

To have a basic understanding of noise and the health risk associated with it. This training will assist Managers and Supervisors in understanding ways to protect employees. Also the selection of personal protective equipment for use in the workplace will be reviewed.

Participants will be able to describe the general principles of noise and the health risk to workers. The use of noise controlling methods will assist Supervisors and Managers in selection and initiation of a Hearing Conservation Program.
