Training Methods and Features
Instructor-led by a qualified professional facilitator
Interactive and Participative: Group size is limited and participants will engage in discussions, Q&A sessions and other activities designed to promote collaborative learning (see “Skill-building Activities”).
Skill-building Activities: The workshop is structured so that participants have opportunities to engage in hands-on exercises that develop skills – e.g. role-playing, group work/problem solving
Application Tool Kit: Each participant will receive a comprehensive manual that will provide tools and job aids for back on the job. These include templates and checklists.
Resource Tools: Included in the workshop manual is a list of selected references to encourage further learning.
Participant Evaluation
The facilitator will evaluate the learning of participants through:
- Open book quizzes
- Exercise debriefs and activity reviews
Recognition
Participants who have attended the workshop in full will receive a Certificate.
Workshop/Facilitator Evaluation
Participants will be asked to complete a short evaluation form at the end of the workshop to provide their feedback on the session and the facilitator. This feedback is used to ensure client satisfaction and to continually monitor and improve the quality of the training program.
