Workshop Objectives
The goal of the workshop is to improve the participant’s knowledge and abilities in the following areas:
- The Ontario Human Rights Code
- Responsibilities
- Prohibited grounds of discrimination
- Harassment and discrimination
- Sexual Harassment and poisoned work environment
- Exceptions to the Code and duty to accommodate
- Developing a human rights policy/procedure
- Investigating a human rights complaint
- Determining appropriate remedies
Intended Audience
This workshop is intended for supervisory and management staff.
