Sexual Harassment Awareness
Workshop Objectives
This workshop presents an information session on the topic of sexual harassment. The goal of the information session is to raise participants’ awareness with respect to key issues related to the topic of sexual harassment.
Learning objectives include:
- Achieving an understanding of the definitions of sexual harassment in the workplace;
- Increasing knowledge of the range and types of behaviour that constitute sexual harassment;
- Gaining insight into the responsibilities of employees, employers and managers; and
- Learning ways to reduce the liability of employers and managers for sexual harassment in the workplace.
Intended Audience
Anyone who wishes to increase his or her awareness of sexual harassment in the workplace
Course Format
Participants will learn through lecture, discussion, and case scenarios.
